Automatic Quartz Watch: Integrating the merits of automatic mechanical watches and quartz watches, it requires no batteries and the users can choose manual winding or automatic charge. Its electronic quartz device makes traveling more accurate—the error is less than ten seconds each month. Its operation principle is to use the arm swing to rotate pendulum within the watch to generate energy to transfer micro-motor into energy, so as to provide the quartz device with adequate power, and the surplus energy will be stored in micro-capacitor for backup. When the watch is fully charged, it can operate more than nine days without wearing the watch on the wrist. At present, Swiss Tissot and Japanese Seiko are famous automatic quartz watches.

Solar-powered Watch:At first, solar energy will be transferred into electrical energy by solar chips and the electrical energy will be stored in recyclable titanium lithium ion rechargeable batteries, then battery power will be sent to coil by pulse signal and generate magnetic force to drive stepper motor, so the energy is converted into kinetic energy to drive gears to rotate the pointers for indicating the time. When it is fully charged, it can run 40-180 days in darkness with accuracy and the rechargeable battery life is 10 years.
